FAQs

Q: What kind of services do you offer?

A: We are a full service salon and med spa offering a wide array of services including hair cut/color, extensions, spray tans, and skin treatments under the supervision of a Medical Director. We are also an on-location beauty agency with a team of talented stylists and makeup artists who travel to you to provide services for your next big event.

Q: Is there parking at your salon?

A: Yes! There is a full parking lot right out front. Please refrain from parking in spaces marked for other business.

Q: What is your cancellation policy for salon appointments?

A: We require a credit card to be held on file in order to book a salon appointment. In the event that you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be subject to being charged 50% of the total cost of your appointment(s). In the event that you no-show to your appointment, you will be subject to being charged 100% of the total cost of your appointment(s).

Q: Do you guarantee your services?

A: YES! Our unconditional guarantee is that you receive the best service ever. If you are unhappy with your service or need something adjusted, please reach out to our front desk team within 7 days of your original service.

Q: How do I schedule an appointment?

A: You can schedule your appointment via online booking, by phone, in person, or email at salon@one10beauty.com. Reservations for your appointment are held with a credit card.

Q: How does the tipping process work? What is the standard?

A: Our prices do not include gratuities for salon service providers. Tipping is optional, but if the service meets or exceeds your expectations it is definitely appreciated. The industry standard is 15 – 20% of your total service fee.

Q:  Is it safe to have color services done while pregnant?

A:  This is based on personal preference.  We do notice most guests wait until they are after their first tri-mister to have a color service done.  We suggest consulting with your doctor for the most professional advice/answer.

Q:  How long after a color service can I wash my hair?

A:  We  suggest to wait 24-48 hours, as this will help your color from fading sooner.  We highly recommend using color safe shampoo.  This will help to protect your investment for a longer period of time.

Q: Do you offer payment plans for extensions?

A:  We do not offer any payment plans for extensions.  The cost of hair is due when you purchase hair and the total cost for the service is due on the day of your install appointment.

Q: How does your referral program work?

A: For each referral, you and whomever you referred will receive 20% off of your service total.

Q:How does your One10 Rewards points program work?

A: Points are rewarded based on total cost spent at each appointment.  You will also receive points when you refer guests to our salon.  These points are converted into a dollar amount and can be used towards any service appointment.  Points may not be used towards retail purchases.

Q: What is the difference in the levels of stylists?

A: Our level system is based on the demand for the services providers time and experience.  Everyone is a license stylist.  Guests may choose the stylist/level that best fits their requests and needs from skill set/experience to budget.  Levels are based on reputation, education, demand and goals met.

Q: Should I wash my hair before I receive a color service?

A: Yes, we recommend coming to your haircolor appointment with clean hair.  This allows products to perform better. Hair build-up doesn’t allow products to perform at its 100% and can sometimes slow down the processing time.

Q: What color lines do you use?

A:  We use Redken, L’oreal Inoa and Pulp Riot.

Q: What retail brands do you sell?

A: We carry a wide array of products to fit any budget and need, including Oribe, Redken, Pureology, IGK, L’Oreal Professional, Ouidad, Mizani, SkinMedica, GlyMed, BioJuve, and Norvell.

Q: How often should you go between a dermaplane?

A: We suggest coming every 4-6 weeks for the best results.

Q: What type of skin services do you offer?

A: We offer Medical grade skin treatments such as SkinPen Microneedling, Diamond Glow Treatment Facials, and Medical Grade Chemical Peels, as well as non-medical services such as Dermaplaning, Custom Facials, Waxing, Brow Lamination/Tints, Lash Lifts/Tints, and Custom Spray Tans.

Q: What does is mean that you are a Bellami VIP Salon?

A: This means that we have been exclusively chosen by the #1 hair extension brand in the US as a representation of their brand and all that it has to offer. We are only 1 of 2 VIP salons in the Nashville area and 1 of only 300 worldwide. We have over 15 stylists certified in 7+ methods of hair extensions for a completely customized result.
